Being the crazy woman that I am, I've decided I can't resist this challenge. One reason is because 100 words a day should be doable even without sacrificing my higher priorities like RELATIONSHIPS! I'm fighting my selfish nature and working hard to make relationships with Jesus and with my family first in my life.

Anyway, back to this challenge. Here are the rules for myself:

 1.     I will write 100 words every day except Sunday, but if I happen to write 100 words on Sunday, I’m counting it lol. I think just knowing I could take the day off if I need/want to will help me keep going.

2.     Since I don’t have an actual project to start on right now and I’m trying to develop a habit of writing each day, I’m going to include blog posts and prep work (like character sheets) along with any essays, articles, queries, poetry, or novel writing I do.

3.     I will take a day off only if I absolutely have no choice without making myself restart. I will be honest with myself and if I know I could have written, I’ll restart my count. Family comes first and although I can usually sneak time here and there, some days it just can’t be done.

So, if you want to cheer me on, I’ll be updating my count each time I post.
