"Creepy place. It's like someone up and vanished." Her voice sounded heavy in the musty air. Cobwebs clung to her hair as she moved from room to room. Chills began to trickle down her spine and she could feel the little hairs rising on the back of her neck. It felt like a million eyes were upon her...

Okay, maybe not a million. Maybe not even one reader lol. But, hey, I'm back. I'm thinking it's about time I do something with this writing blog like maybe...hmmm...talk about writing? That of course might mean I have to actually write again, too.

I had a long (a whole NINE months if you can believe it) difficult pregnancy and recovery has been slow (could it be because I'm 35? NAAAAHHHH!). Amber keeps me busy as does her toddler brother and their four other siblings (yes, that would be six for those who just HATE math). But somewhere in all this life surrounding me, I'd like to pick up my pen or rather keystrokes and get some (hopefully) decent prose from it.

Time is something I don't have much of at all (I keep googling for a time vendor, but as of yet, not found a single one...and they say you can buy anything on the internet!). Even if I only crank out 100 words a day, it is 100 more a day than I have been which is moving forward (yes, like a turtle, but he did still make it) and definitely a good thing.

At some point, I need a new look for my writing blog, too. That will have to wait a bit though. Anyway, look for posts here. If you like to write or love to read, you should find something of interest here.
